1962 Toll free number launched in Rajasthan for Livestock support.
As part of the organisation’s CSR initiative, BFIL and IndusInd Bank have signed an MoU with the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Rajasthan, to support the 1962-Mobile Veterinary Unit (MVU) under the ESVHD scheme.
The establishment of the centralised state level call center at Jaipur will be synergised with the door-step delivery of veterinary services. By dialling the toll-free number - 1962 the livestock farmers can connect with veterinary experts and BFIL supports the establishment and operations of the 1962 State-Level Call Center, which handles veterinary treatment requests across Rajasthan. The project will cover livestock in more than 45,000 villages in all the blocks of Rajasthan by deploying 536 Mobile Veterinary Units (MVUs).
Launched on 22nd April 2025, the 1962-MVU Rajasthan Chatbot is a first-of-its-kind initiative in India’s Animal Husbandry sector. To further strengthen the program, BFIL and IndusInd Bank under their CSR mandate, in partnership with the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Rajasthan, launched the chatbot that offers free video, audio, and text-based teleconsultation services to livestock owners.
